Well, I feel proud! Now have a FB business page, working on this blog, and am tweeting on twitter...welcome to 2009! Who could have imagined all of these new & incredible ways to inform (or bore) people with your own ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and tips would exist?

I hope to be working on here more frequently now. Organizing tips to share with whomever may be interested in paring it down one room at a time, and reclaiming homes for all those who desire it~

More soon; good night.

Have you joined the resolution of 2009 too?

Aside from the usual resolutions to lose weight, exercise more, and eat better in the new year, I would definitely state that the other "hot" resolution is to get organized this year!

Everywhere I go, I hear or read something regarding getting yourself and your home organized. Look at the check out stands of your grocery store, and notice all of the newly published books in the home improvement areas of your local book store. When you turn on your TV, you can't help but listen to one of the many de-cluttering home shows.

Have you joined the frenzy? Well, I am extremely PROUD of my clients who have decided that enough is enough, and that 2009 is THE time to start the organizing process for themselves, and their families.

The hardest part of the battle is admitting that you need some organizing, and then actually getting started. I have found that the best thing to do is start small. Such as a small pile of papers lying on your counter top or your desk. Working for three hours is about all most people can handle, since starting a project can be overwhelming, and even emotionally exhausting. Start small, and catch the fever.

I know you can do it~

New clients with new problems to solve!

This was a great weekend full of relaxation, great family time and even one whole day spent in my jammies. Sorry to see it come to an end, but excited about the upcoming week. Monday brings me to new client's home. Great story about how we met.

Last Friday, I was standing in the check-out line at Target to pay for some items for other clients, when this extremely kind, and older gentleman asked me if I was purchasing my items for a business. I replied that yes, it was for my professional organizing business. He congratulated me on taking the entrepreneurial route.

Well, the lady standing in front of him overheard our conversation, and interjected that I was just who she needed to help her in her home immediately! She had already begun her master closet, and had even bought all new hangers. She said that she felt stuck and was unsure of what to do next. What fate for the both of us!

So, tomorrow, I will go to her home and help her start her 2009 in an organized fashion. She seems like a lovely person; full of spunk, and enthusiasm for her current home project.

Happy New Year

Welcome bloggers & Happy New Year to all! I am very new to the blogging world, but am excited about all of the interesting people, creative ideas, and views available in this blogging galaxy. What an exciting time in 2009

Today it is back to reality for most people, as far as a return to jobs, and kids off to school. Such a juxtaposition; love the holiday break from our regular routine, but then ready to jump back into it again after two weeks. Even my sons woke up nicely and excited to see teachers and friends again. Perhaps the timing of it all is just right...

I am a professional organizer in San Antonio, Texas, and can say that I LOVE my job! It is uplifting to help others who so badly want to improve their homes, lives, and even their mental state. I look forward to this blogging site so that I can share organizing tips, creative ideas, and even some wonderful products that I stumble across to improve our home and lives.

My mantra is "paring it down one room at a time" - think about it!

Enjoy~
